River House is situated on the banks of the River Ness, at the foot of the Victorian built Greig Street suspension bridge.

We serve the finest seafood and shellfish, sourced locally and beyond.
Oysters, crab, mussels, langoustine, clams, halibut, bass, to name a few………..

All our dishes are individually prepared and cooked to order in our open plan kitchen.

Eat, drink and relax in the comfort of our plush surroundings, whilst appreciating the fantastic river views over the bridge and up to Inverness Castle.

Due to the restaurant size we allow a 2 hour dwelling time per table.
If you need to cancel a booking, please try to give us as much notice as possible.
Last minute cancellations and no-shows, particularly in the present climate, have a big effect on a small restaurant like ours.
